BACKGROUND

Moneysupermarket is the UK's second-largest price comparison website. WCRS won the pitch from Mother, who had created some of the UK's most-loved advertising for the brand over ten years. After a difficult first campaign by WCRS, the brief was given to the entire creative department to reinvent the brand and save the account. Our bull had a very difficult birth - even after it sailed through research, EVERY shot was fought over, argued, and thoroughly researched again. But, just when we thought we’d make it to air, the pandemic hit, and we were forced to re-edit, re-research, and sell it all over again. But when we finally went live, we received a brilliant response. A personal ‘highlight’ was this guy talking about the ad in his sermon.
